Audio Visual Installation Engineer

The Role

As an AV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning high‑quality AV systems at client sites. You will play a key role in delivering projects to a high standard, ensuring every installation looks sharp, performs flawlessly, and leaves the client impressed.

• Installing a wide range of AV solutions including projectors, LED & LCD displays, screens, speakers, microphones, VC systems, control systems, and digital signage.
• Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and system designs.
• Ensuring all installations meet industry standards, health & safety, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time.
• Maintaining company tools, PPE, and vehicles to a professional standard.
• Representing the business professionally on client sites.
• Taking part in ongoing training and development to stay ahead of the curve.

• Proven experience in AV installation (commercial environments preferred).
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow and installation best practices.
• Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
