As a Kitchen Fitter, you’ll work within occupied and void social housing properties, supported by an experienced supervisor and a well-organised site team delivering KPI-driven programmes for a major principal contractor.
This opportunity is with an established property maintenance and refurbishment contractor delivering kitchen replacement programmes across Birmingham. The business has a strong reputation within social housing and offers ongoing work, additional earning opportunities, and the chance to become part of a reliable and experienced team.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has worked as a Kitchen Fitter, Carpenter, Multi Trade Operative, or Kitchen Installer within social housing or domestic refurbishment projects.
As a Kitchen Fitter, you will be:

Installing complete kitchens within occupied and void social housing properties
Completing kitchen fit outs following rip-out teams
Carrying out boxing-in, panelling, and associated carpentry works
Returning to complete finishing works such as upstands and snagging items where required
Completing silicone sealing and final finishing tasks
Working to programme deadlines and KPI expectations
Communicating effectively with supervisors and site teams on progress and support needs

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

Proven experience fitting kitchens independently
The ability to complete a dry-fit kitchen installation within 1–2 days
Experience working within social housing or domestic properties
A reliable and punctual approach to work
Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions when needed
Own van and own tools
Experience completing boxing-in, panelling, or finishing works

The Kitchen Fitter role is offering the following benefits:

£280–£300 per kitchen
Weekly pay
Long-term social housing programme
Additional earning opportunities through snagging and multi-skilled works
Potential extra work completing liquid screed flooring
Support from an experienced on-site supervisor
Increased work volumes expected from July onwards

This role is offering a day rate of £280–£300 per kitchen.
