JIB Electrician

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently looking for a JIB Approved Electrician for a permanent position for a client based in the Nottinghamshire area.

This will involve working away from home.

Rate of pay is £20.08 per hour

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services across a wide range of client sites throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

Electrical installation works
Electrical testing, inspection, and verification
Planned and reactive maintenance
Fault finding and diagnostics
Structured cabling installations
Participating in an on-call rota
Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with current regulations

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification or completed Electrical Apprenticeship
18th Edition BS7671 Qualification
2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent Inspection & Testing Qualification
Valid JIB Grading Card
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK

Desirable Qualifications

While not essential, the following would be advantageous:

BS5266 Emergency Lighting Qualification
IPAF Certification
PASMA Certification

Experience with structured cabling systems
