Senior Security Estimator

Senior Estimator – Security Systems | Birmingham | £350/day | Hybrid

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well‑established organisation specialising in electronic security systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial and university projects, with long‑term contract stability and the potential to move into a permanent role.

• Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates and tenders for security system installations
• Work across systems including:
  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Nurse Call Systems
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather project requirements
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost efficiencies
• Support bid submissions and ensure deadlines are met

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within:
  • Security Systems
  • Fire & Security
  • ELV / LV Systems
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intruder systems
• Experience pricing commercial, healthcare, or education sector projects
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• £350 per day (outside IR35 depending on setup)
• Weekly pay (every Friday) via our payroll company or Ltd Company
• Hybrid working – mix of home and Birmingham office
• Long‑term contract with option to go permanent
• Opportunity to work on large‑scale, high‑value projects
