Midlands (Birmingham & Coventry) | South Birmingham We are currently seeking experienced Refrigeration Engineers to join a well-established Facilities Management business delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial and retail sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable role with a strong benefits package, regular working hours, and excellent overtime earning potential.
The Role As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of refrigeration equipment across multiple client sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Planned and reactive maintenance of refrigeration systems Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of equipment Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and company standards Completing service reports and maintenance documentation Providing excellent customer service whilst on site Participating in the on-call rota as required Requirements Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer Relevant refrigeration qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent) F-Gas Certification Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence Experience working within commercial or retail environments is desirable Package Salary: £45,000 £ 50,000 per annum (depending on experience and contracted hours) Standby rota: 1 in 4, with additional payment and overtime opportunities Additional on-call earning opportunities available Company vehicle provided Fuel card Company phone and tablet Tools supplied Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am 5:00pm) Overtime available Ongoing training and development opportunities Long-term career progression within a growing organisation If you are an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
