Lead Industrial Electrician (Training into Solar)

Location: Midlands (covering UK) – Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Peterborough, Cambridge, Norwich and surrounding areas.

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + van + overtime + bonus + pension + progression + holidays (Christmas shut down) + food allowance.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career into the Solar sector with a well‑established thriving renewable energy business. We are looking for a Fully Qualified commercial Electrician holding AM2, looking for technical training within the Solar sector.

• Lead the site work group and oversee all aspects of the electrical installation for commercial solar PV systems and solar powered car ports.
• Install commercial PV systems, solar powered car ports and general electrical fit‑outs.
• Travel across the South of England (Monday–Friday) on a project‑dependent basis.

• Commercial electrician with reference to ECS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, 2391 test and inspection, AM2.
• Experience with commercial electrical installations.
• Willingness to train and progress into a site manager or project manager role.
