Senior Fire Alarm Engineer Package Details
- Up to £38,000 Basic Salary
- Lucrative Commission Scheme – Earn up to 7.5% on First-Time Fixes, Non-Compliance Quotations, Battery Replacements & Additional Works. On average Engineers are taking home an additional £10k
- Travel Time Paid (Minus 30 Minutes Each Way)
- £145 Standby Payment
- Call Out Rota – 1 in 8–9 Weeks
- Minimum 2 Hours Paid at Time and a Half on Call Out + £15 Per Call Out Attended
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Role OverviewAs a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, fault finding and carrying out small works on fire alarm systems across a portfolio of commercial customers throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands.
One of the key benefits of this role is the local patch, with all sites located within approximately one hour of Birmingham, providing a better work-life balance and significantly reducing long-distance travel.
Key Responsibilities- Service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Small Works
- Providing excellent customer service on site
- Identifying remedial works and additional opportunities
- Working in accordance with current industry standards and Health & Safety procedures
- Participating in a low-frequency call-out rota
- Experience servicing Fire Alarm systems
- Experience carrying out small works
- Experience working within commercial environments
- A full UK Driving Licence
- A professional and customer-focused approach
