We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diagnostic / Master Technician to join our client's modern dealership in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic / Master Technician looking to advance their career within a progressive, technology-driven environment.

Duties of the Diagnostic / Master Technician:
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
  • Repair, service, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Accurately complete warranty and diagnostic repairs
  • Work on hybrid and electric vehicles, where qualified
  • Utilise state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify intermittent and complex faults
  • Support and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
Requirements of the Diagnostic / Master Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Technician within a franchised or professional workshop environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent fault-finding ability with a methodical approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude with the ability to mentor and support colleagues
