We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diagnostic / Master Technician to join our client's modern dealership in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic / Master Technician looking to advance their career within a progressive, technology-driven environment.
Benefits for the successful Diagnostic / Master Technician:- Basic salary up to £44,696, dependent on experience
- Potential to achieve OTE circa £55,000
- Monday to Friday working hours - 40 hours per week

- Conduct advanced diagnostics on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
- Repair, service, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete warranty and diagnostic repairs
- Work on hybrid and electric vehicles, where qualified
- Utilise state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify intermittent and complex faults
- Support and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
- Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Technician within a franchised or professional workshop environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
- Excellent fault-finding ability with a methodical approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude with the ability to mentor and support colleagues
