Solar Installer

Winberry is supporting a growing renewable energy contractor looking for experienced Solar Installers to join their installation teams on projects across the UK.

The successful Solar Installer will work on a variety of commercial rooftop and large domestic Solar PV installations, supporting projects from initial mounting through to final installation. This is an excellent opportunity for installers looking for long-term contract work with a busy and expanding business.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have a background in Solar PV installation, although electricians and roofers with relevant experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

* Installing Solar PV mounting systems and panels

* Commercial rooftop and large domestic installations

* Working safely at height

* Assisting with cable routing and installation works

* Working alongside electricians and installation teams

* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard

* Following all health and safety procedures on site

What We're Looking For

* Previous Solar PV installation experience preferred

* Electrical or roofing background highly desirable

* Comfortable working at height

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Happy travelling and staying away during the working week when required

* CSCS card preferred

* IPAF, PASMA or Working at Height qualifications advantageous
