Electrical Supervisor

We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Severn Trent Water team based in Birmingham.

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on water and wastewater projects across the Severn Trent Water region. You'll be managing direct-staff electricians, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project managers, site teams and client representatives, you'll play a vital role in bringing electrical projects to life from installation through to successful handover.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll be working within the Severn Trent Water team, supporting them in delivering safe, high-quality electrical installation works.

• Managing and supervising direct-staff electricians, ensuring daily activities are clearly briefed, planned and safely controlled
• Coordinating labour, materials, tools and work fronts to maintain productive progress against agreed programmes
• Reviewing electrical design from a constructability perspective and working with engineers to resolve technical queries
• Issuing and managing electrical permits, coordinating isolations and ensuring compliance with site controls
• Liaising with client representatives and site teams to ensure work requirements and completion expectations are understood and met

This role of Electrical Supervisor is great for you if:

• You hold a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• You have SSSTS or SMSTS, 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and Level 3 Inspection & Testing qualifications
• You hold an ECS / JIB Gold or Black Card (Supervisor)
• You have post-qualification experience in electrical installation, testing and supervision
• You hold a Full driving licence
