Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year

Hours: Average 45 hours per week

Shifts:

Week 1:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm

Week 2:
Monday, 1:00pm to 10:00pm, Tuesday to Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy, modern workshop maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic

If you have experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy goods vehicles, this role offers the chance to work with modern diagnostic equipment in a well equipped workshop where quality workmanship is valued.

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Inspect vehicles and prepare them for MOT testing
• Repair and replace vehicle components as required
• Complete all work to manufacturer and DVSA standards
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the workshop team to maximise vehicle uptime

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• Experience with in a dealership or commercial vehicle workshop
• Manufacturer training or accreditation
