DIAGNOSTIC VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Hours:

Monday to Friday + Saturday Morning on Rota

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician to join a busy, well-established workshop in Birmingham Central.

You'll be trusted with complex faults, advanced diagnostics and challenging technical repairs, while also supporting the wider workshop when more difficult jobs arise. It's a great opportunity for a technician looking to develop their diagnostic expertise and progress their career.

THE ROLE

As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults across a range of modern vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out advanced diagnostics on mechanical and electrical faults

Using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment

Identifying and resolving complex and intermittent faults

Supporting other Technicians with diagnostics and fault finding

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs when required

Working on engines, gearboxes and major vehicle components

Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with:

Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician

Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Excellent problem-solving ability

Confident working with modern vehicle systems and electronics

Ability to work independently and support other Technicians

Full UK Driving Licence
