My Key Recruitment is working with a growing, established maintenance business based in near Bromsgrove and we’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and wants to join a business where they’ll be valued rather than treated as just another number.

You’ll be working across the West Midlands and surrounding areas, attending a variety of commercial, office, residential and specialist properties.

No two days will necessarily look the same. You’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, repairs and general building works while delivering a professional service to customers on site.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in one or more of the following:

• Carpentry
• Roofing
• Plumbing
• Painting & Decorating
• Groundworks
• Plastering
• General Building & Maintenance

You don’t need to be an expert in every trade. We’re looking for someone who has strong experience within at least one core trade, combined with the practical ability and confidence to undertake a range of general maintenance tasks.

You’ll be someone who is:

• Experienced within building maintenance or a skilled trade
• Multi-skilled with a practical, hands-on approach
• Comfortable working independently across different customer sites
• Reliable, organised and professional
• Able to problem-solve and think on your feet
• Flexible and willing to turn your hand to different tasks
• Customer-focused with a genuine "can-do" attitude
• Looking for a stable, long-term position with opportunities to develop

Previous reactive maintenance experience would be highly advantageous, with at least one year’s maintenance experience preferred.
