Multi Disciplined Engineer - : V349We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Multi-Disciplined Engineer to join our growing team in the Birmingham area. This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to expand their expertise across a range of fire and security systems, including Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms, and Networking.
The successful candidate will be customer-focused, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality service. Ongoing training and development will be provided to support your professional growth.
The Role Involves- Service and maintain Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Networking systems
- Demonstrate a willingness to undertake fire alarm training and develop into a fully multi-disciplined engineer
- Provide support with the commissioning of systems, when required
- Ensure client satisfaction is achieved before leaving site by delivering a high standard of service
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including timesheets, and job reports, using the Company’s service management system
- Deliver an outstanding level of customer service at all times
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures and best practices
- Participate in the Company’s out of hours callout rota
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, High-End CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems
- Knowledge of networking and PABX systems would be an advantage
- Gent approved engineer status is desirable (training provided if not certified)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of the relevant systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a positive approach with a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to remain effective under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Well organised with a disciplined and structured approach to work
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal development
- Working hours:
Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm (Permanent) - Salary:
