Laing O'Rourke is looking for experienced Advanced Scaffolders to join our team on the M42 Box HS2 Project in Birmingham
.

Key Duties
  • Load and unload scaffolding materials on site.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
  • Install ladders, walkways and handrails.
  • Fix guardrails and safety netting.
  • Erect scaffolding around formwork and shuttering used for concrete structures.
  • Carry out scaffold inspections in line with industry standards.
  • Follow approved safe working methods and site procedures at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Advanced Scaffold Inspection experience.
  • Proven knowledge and skill as an Advanced Scaffolder.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely.
  • Able to perform routine manual labour tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and supervise Scaffold Labourers and Trainees.
  • Happy working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Able to work safely at height and in confined spaces when required.
Essential Qualifications
  • CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Tube & Fitting
  • Advanced Scaffold Inspection
