INTRUDER ALARM ENGINEER

UK-WIDE TRAVEL | PERMANENT POSITION

We are currently looking for an experienced Intruder Alarm Engineer to join our client’s growing team.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong Honeywell Galaxy experience who is confident carrying out installations, commissioning and customer training.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for installing, commissioning and supporting intruder alarm systems across sites throughout the UK.

* Installation of intruder alarm systems

* Commissioning and programming of systems

* Working with Honeywell Galaxy intruder alarm systems

* Experience with CSL Dual Com signalling

* Testing and fault finding

* Customer handovers and staff training

* Providing technical support and advice to customers

* Travelling to sites across the UK

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

* Previous experience as an Intruder Alarm Engineer

* Strong experience with Honeywell Galaxy systems

* Experience with CSL Dual Com signalling

* Confident carrying out installations and commissioning

* Able to work independently and complete installations from start to finish

* Willingness to travel throughout the UK

* Full UK driving licence

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

* Relevant Intruder Alarm / Security Systems qualification, such as an NVQ or equivalent

* BSIA/industry-recognised security systems training desirable

* Relevant manufacturer training/certification for Honeywell Galaxy systems desirable

* ECS/CSCS card where applicable

* Full UK driving licence

DESIRABLE

Experience with fire alarm systems would be a real bonus, particularly for an engineer who is keen to develop their skills across both security and fire.
