Carpenter - Birmingham

O'Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for a Carpenter to work on repairs and maintenance projects throughout Birmingham. For 1-2 weeks working 40 hours per week.

Working hours are from 8:00am to 05:00pm - Monday to Friday. There is no parking on site street parking available.

All applicants MUST have a Gold or Blue CSCS Card ONLY and own tools.

Duties:

-To carry out carpentry tasks according to the specified project standards under the guidance of the Site Manager

-Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship

-Responsibly handle all tools owned by the company

-Wear appropriate clothing and PPE relevant to the assigned task

-Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day

To be successful the candidate must have:

-Previous site-based work experience

-Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation

-Knowledge of working within the Public Sector

-Experience with machine shop tooling

-Valid clean driving licence

-Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans
