The Opportunity You'll be responsible for the installation of mechanical equipment and pipework systems from engineering drawings, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician, Site Fitter, Industrial Fitter or Pipe Installation Engineer who enjoys working on varied projects within the utilities and process engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities Install pipework and mechanical equipment from approved engineering drawings. Work in line with client specifications, company standards and quality procedures. Install and maintain systems including pumps, valves, blowers and associated equipment. Follow project programmes alongside Site Supervisors and Site Managers. Ensure all work meets Health & Safety requirements. Identify and report technical or installation issues promptly. Maintain company equipment, tools and assets in good condition.
Attend and complete company training where required. Experience & Skills Required We are interested in candidates with experience in some or all of the following:
Large diameter flanged pipework. Mild steel, stainless steel and ductile iron pipe systems. Plastic pipework installation. Screwed pipework. Mapress pipework systems. Mechanical inline equipment including pumps, valves and blowers. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings. Experience working within water treatment, utilities, process, industrial or petrochemical environments would be advantageous. What's on Offer? Competitive salary/hourly rate dependent on experience.
