Specialist water hygiene and treatment consultancy are offering a Water Hygiene Technician position for an applicant who is looking to break into the water sector. Working on a range of sites including Offices, Retail, Education and Healthcare, work will be within 2 hours of Birmingham and will focus on the commercial sector.
Typical work for the Water Hygiene Technician will include- Temperature monitoring/testing of tap outlets and tanks
- Cleaning, descaling and disinfection of shower heads and hoses
- Inspecting/Cleaning of water tanks
- TMV Servicing
- Water Sampling
- Maintaining site logbooks
The Water Hygiene Technician will receive full training on all areas of legionella compliance, so if you want to work in a manual field-based position then this is the role for you.
Required background- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to be in a field-based position (van provided)
- Full driving license
- Ability to pass a DBS clearance
