Mechanical Craftsperson

Equans is looking for a Mechanical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.  What will you deliver?

The responsibilities will mainly be at the Mental Health Sites of Barberry, Oleaster & Zinnia, however this could extend to other areas on the contract if requested by Senior Management Undertake any reasonable duties directed by TSM/Supervisor/Helpdesk to maintain all services to the NHS Trust, and ensure that all associated paperwork is completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner

Perform the complete range of Mechanical Craftsperson tasks as required or directed by management

Carry out all works in compliance with EQUANS KPI’s and contract

Have a knowledge of water / mechanical systems within a healthcare environment and maintenance / testing activities

Have a knowledge of Legionella and other water pathogens

Undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, Tank visual inspections, TMV servicing, AHU servicing, to name a few Drive the company vehicle as required to meet the needs of the service

Take part in on call rota
