45,000 – 48,000 per annumA leading specialist in temperature control and process cooling solutions, providing high-performance cooling equipment to commercial and industrial customers throughout the UK. Supporting sectors including manufacturing, food & beverage, plastics, data centres, and process industries, this company provides temporary and permanent cooling solutions ranging from individual chillers through to complete engineered systems. Due to continued growth within its hire division, the business is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to support its rental chiller fleet and customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and repair a range of industrial and commercial chillers within the hire fleet
Attend customer sites to install, commission, and decommission temporary cooling equipment
Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults on chillers and associated equipment
Respond to breakdowns and ensure hire equipment is returned to operation quickly and efficiently
Prepare and test equipment before deployment to customer sites
Complete service reports and ensure all work complies with F-Gas and health & safety requirements
Package:45,000 – 48,000 per annum
37.5 hour week Company vehicle

What You’ll Need:
Previous experience working as a Chiller, Refrigeration, or Process Cooling Engineer Strong knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
Experience carrying out service, maintenance, commissioning, and fault finding
Strong refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical diagnostic skillsF-Gas Category 1 qualification
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently across customer sites
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
