A new opportunity has arisen to work for a housing provider as a Groundworker on a permanent basis.
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality groundwork and external repairs within occupied and void social housing properties. The role involves travel between properties, with work allocated as close to your home location as possible.
Pay Rate

£31,000 per annum - Permanent
Duties Include

Carrying out all aspects of groundwork repairs and maintenance within social housing properties.
Undertaking excavation, trenching, drainage repairs, concreting, kerbing, paving, and reinstatement works.
Completing external repairs and refurbishment works to occupied and void properties.
Installing and repairing pathways, fencing, slabs, steps, kerbs, and boundary features.
Carrying out drainage investigations and repairs, including gullies, channels, and underground pipework.
Operating hand tools and small plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Diagnosing defects and carrying out effective remedial works within agreed timescales.
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied homes.
Using PDA/mobile devices to receive, manage, and complete work orders.
Maintaining accurate records of works completed and materials used.
Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Skills Required

Proven experience as a Groundworker within social housing, construction, property maintenance, or a similar environment.
Skilled in drainage, concreting, paving, kerbing, trenching, and reinstatement works.
Ability to identify defects and carry out permanent repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience using PDA systems or mobile workforce technology.
Valid CSCS Card.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations within construction and property maintenance.
