Commercial Gas Engineer £46000 to £50,000 per annum
Location:
Aston, Birmingham & West Midlands
We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer on behalf of an established commercial maintenance company based in Aston, Birmingham.
The company provides maintenance services to a diverse range of commercial customers, including hospitality groups, pubs and restaurants, retail businesses, schools, healthcare facilities and public-sector organisations.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of commercial premises, maintaining essential heating, gas and hot-water systems for well-known businesses and organisations.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Servicing and maintaining commercial gas boilers and heating systems.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
* Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
* Maintaining commercial hot-water systems and associated plant-room equipment.
* Undertaking installations, replacements and commissioning where required.
* Travelling to customer sites throughout the West Midlands.
* Completing service reports, job sheets and safety documentation.
* Ensuring all work complies with current gas safety legislation and health and safety requirements.
* Providing a professional service to customers and site contacts.
Requirements
* Relevant commercial gas qualifications and current ACS certifications.
* Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
* Knowledge of commercial boilers, heating systems and hot-water installations.
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
Salary: £46000 to £50,000 per annum.
Location:
Aston, Birmingham, with travel across the West Midlands.
