Nationwide (Midlands Based Ideally)

Are you a Heat Pump Engineer or Plumbing & Heating Engineer looking for a secure, long-term role with a growing renewables specialist?

Do you want to join an award-winning company with a strong reputation and a large, repeat customer base?

This is a permanent position with a well-established nationwide renewable energy business where you will receive a structured onboarding and initial shadowing period, plus the backing of a wider network of engineers to help you do the job properly.

As a result of continued growth and ongoing demand, they are now looking to add an experienced engineer to support servicing, maintenance and installation work across domestic properties.

In this role you will carry out annual servicing (busier in summer) and reactive call-outs (typically busier in winter), as well as installs. You'll diagnose and repair systems end-to-end, including associated components such as cylinders and heaters.

Occasional travel and stay-aways may be required depending on workload and coverage.

This role would suit a Heat Pump Engineer or Heating and Plumbing Engineer with domestic experience, looking for long-term stability, a supportive team and the opportunity to progress technically.

The Role:
  • Service, maintain and install domestic air source heat pumps
  • Reactive call-outs and planned servicing across the year
  • Diagnose whole-system issues (including cylinders / water heaters)
  • Permanent role, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours between 8am-6pm), occasional stay-aways
The Person :
  • Domestic heat pump installation / service experience
  • G3 Unvented qualification and NVQ Plumbing Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and able to work independently in customers' homes
  • Full UK Driving License
