Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.84 Hourly As a member of the Business Office Insurance Rep team you will process insurance claims to third party health carriers for billing of medical services provided by The Bone & Joint Center providers. Your responsibilities will include initial billing, investigation and reconciliation of problem claims, maintaining automated accounts, filing, and other office tasks.
In addition you will establish contact with insurance offices and patients to resolve issues concerning missing vital information, and ensure timely processing of benefit information.
This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Salary range is $18.00 - $24.84 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- File Electronic Claims
- Print and file hard copy claims
- Post Insurance payments
- Call insurance companies and follow-up on denied claims
- Answering phone calls and provide precise and helpful information to patients in order to maintain patient satisfaction regarding billing questions
EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICALSKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
