This position reports to Sales Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this function, you will represent our three strong brands ABB, Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH, and Striebel&John as an Account Manager. In a future-proof industry, topics like smart home, energy management, and sustainability are no strangers to you.

You are responsible for the order intake/sales budget in accordance with the price guidelines. This includes the organization and planning of measures to increase the order intake/sales of new customers and the introduction of new products and systems.

You are mainly responsible for:

• Acquiring customers (defined target groups) for ABB and building or maintaining an intensive customer relationship
• Developing and ensuring an individual, solution- and value-oriented cooperation between ABB and customers
• Commercial negotiations and agreements in cooperation at decision-maker level with a focus on growth for the customer and ABB
• Further developing the customer target group in the technical and marketing competence of our product and system solutions
• Ensuring the customer's use of ABB software tools/configurators
• Co-steering condition and bonus agreements
• Conducting annual meetings, developing and implementing joint regional market activities
• Implementing digitalization (E-Commerce, online tools, online store EGH)

Qualifications for the Role

• You are an electrician, electrical master, or have a commercial education with a strong technical affinity
• You have experience in the sales of technical products and systems
• Expanding the existing network is a matter of course for you
• Knowledge of the electrical wholesale and electrical installation market in Germany
