Superintendent About the Role Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily on‑site construction activities, including civil, structural, MEP, electrical, enclosure, and site infrastructure work.
- Oversee field operations from initial mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
- Direct subcontractors, vendors, inspections, equipment logistics, and work sequencing to maintain smooth operations.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain full compliance with all jobsite safety standards.
- Conduct daily planning meetings, schedule updates, look‑ahead planning, and detailed field reporting.
- Review drawings, technical submittals, and coordinated models to ensure accurate installation and sequencing.
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain schedule certainty and ensure smooth project progression.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, design partners, commissioning teams, engineers, and owner representatives.
- Support quality assurance efforts, punch‑list completion, and project turnover documentation.
- 5–10+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction, including supervisory or superintendent roles.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, structural sequencing, and mission‑critical building assemblies.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise subcontractors, field crews, scheduling, and jobsite operations independently.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communicator with excellent leadership and team‑coordination abilities.
- Adaptable, decisive, and capable of solving field challenges quickly.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Passionate about safety, quality, and delivering successful results.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a larger project team.
This is a Permanent position based out of Bismarck, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
