Visitor Services Representative

The schedule for this position entails approximately 14 hours every other weekend.
The main responsibility of the visitor service representative is to deliver exceptional customer service to our guests. This includes welcoming visitors, assisting with facility rentals, and maintaining resources at the information desk. Other responsibilities of the visitor service team include, but is not limited to:
Physically greet all guests upon entering the ND Heritage Center & State Museum, welcoming them to the facility and providing direction. Remain visible and available to guests throughout the entirety of their visit, serving as their primary point of contact and addressing any inquiries. Helping with facility rentals as needed. Ensuring the organization and upkeep of brochures and information materials.
To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 16 years old, have customer service experience, have the ability to move boxes of brochures weighing up to 35 pounds, and the ability to escort visitors around the building. Additionally, the successful candidate must have an engaging, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality, have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to a schedule, and willingness to work flexible hours.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience with public speaking and/or theater and working with children of all ages.
