Summary Of Work
The Support Specialist provides administrative support, customer service, and operational coordination to the Policyholder Services Department and WSI employer stakeholders, ensuring employer needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. The role focuses on serving as a primary resource for employer account administration, supporting policyholder services operations, and assisting with communication, financial processing, and employer outreach initiatives.
Summary Of WorkThe Support Specialist provides administrative support, customer service, and operational coordination to the Policyholder Services Department and WSI employer stakeholders, ensuring employer needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. The role focuses on serving as a primary resource for employer account administration, supporting policyholder services operations, and assisting with communication, financial processing, and employer outreach initiatives. Responsibilities include responding to employer inquiries by phone and email, maintaining employer account information in WSI's claims and policy systems, onboarding and supporting users in the myWSI portal, coordinating employer communication campaigns, processing financial transactions and payment reallocations, reviewing employer coverage documentation, and preparing correspondence.
The position also supports underwriting initiatives, collaborates with internal staff and external agencies to verify employer coverage requirements, and provides technical assistance and administrative support to ensure efficient service delivery and accurate policy administration.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two years of demonstrated experience in office support or customer service is required.
- Further education in office support, business, or office education may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
