Gastroenterology Locum Bismarck (ND)

Seeking a Gastroenterology physician for hospital-based call coverage. General GI candidates will be considered, with ERCP experience highly preferred. ERCP-capable providers will receive priority review.

• November (ending morning of November 30)

• December 23 January 3 (ending morning of January
  4)

• 24-hour call coverage

• In-house for approximately 8 hours daily for procedures and rounding (flexible based on census)

• Hospital and call coverage only No clinic

• Solo coverage (no additional GI on site)

• No supervision of other providers

• 1 2 ERCPs per week (key volume consideration)

• 1 2 scopes per day on average

• 1 2 new consults per day

• 5 6 patients to round on daily

• Management of hospitalized GI patients

• Endoscopy support includes RNs and CRNAs

• No NP support

• EMR:
  Epic

• Colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy

• Proctoscopy / flexible sigmoidoscopy

• Hemorrhoidal banding

• Upper GI endoscopy

• PEG placement

• Esophageal variceal banding

• Management of acute GI bleeds

• Dilation

• Highly Preferred: ERCP

• Estimated days

• State license (pending accepted; IMLC considered) Required

• BLS & DEA Required

• Clean malpractice history preferred

• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) Required at presentation
