Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult hospitalized GI patients
Setting: Hospital call coverage only (No clinic)
Responsibilities: Hospital rounding, consults, GI procedures, management of hospitalized GI patients, solo coverage during assignment
Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, Biopsy, Polypectomy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Hemorrhoidal Banding, Upper GI Endoscopy, PEG, Esophageal Variceal Banding, Dilation, Management of acute GI bleed, ERCP (highly preferred)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: RN s and CRNA s in endoscopy room;
No NP support
Days Per Month: Estimated 6 shifts
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour on-call including weekends
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified
- State License (Pending accepted / IMLC considered)
- BLS & DEA
- NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
