Gastroenterology Physician

Summary: Join a dynamic team at a leading healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota, seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum coverage. The facility is well-equipped and dedicated to providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care. Candidates specializing in general GI are welcome, with preference given to those experienced in ERCP.

• Provide clinical care for hospitalized GI patients.
• Perform essential procedures including colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, proctoscopy, and more.
• Manage patient rounds at the hospital, typically averaging 5 to 6 patients daily.
• Conduct 1 to 2 scopes per day based on patient needs.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage with hospital rounding for 8 hours.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical record documentation.
• Work independently as the sole gastroenterologist on-site during assignment.

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
• State License Pending license accepted; may obtain at offer (Will consider IMLC) (REQUIRED)
• BLS and DEA certification (REQUIRED)
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (REQUIRED)
• Experience in general GI; ERCP certification highly preferred
