Job Summary & Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist on a PRN basis to join our team in Bismarck, ND.

• MDA fellowship is not required
• The anesthesia team consists of 6.4 full‑time physicians, 2 PRN physicians, and 17 CRNAs
• Coverage is for one hospital
• Broad case mix:
  Cardiothoracic, Pediatric, General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology, Neurology, etc.
• Provide care in surgical suites, endoscopy suite, cardiac catheterization labs, PACU, and EP lab
• Care team model with medical direction of CRNAs (except bypass cases)
• Physicians sit cardiac cases (TEE comfortability a must) and run labor epidural service
• Use EPIC EMR
• Group prides itself on fair and equitable schedules, vacation, pay, call, and case‑mix distribution
• Wide variety of specialty procedures with a high volume of cardiovascular cases

• American Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specified area of medical specialty
• A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license eligible
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications

Bismarck, ND – 185‑bed Level II trauma center with a 14‑bed ICU. The facility serves as a regional referral center and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services.

Range: $0 – $385.00 per hour
