Graduate Assistant for the Exercise Physiology Department

The University of Mary invites applications for a graduate assistant to support the Exercise Physiology Department. This 8‑month appointment is approximately 20 hours per week, beginning September 2026 through April 2027, and may be renewed for a second year.

Applicants should be willing to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the university.

• Provide supervised exercise services at the Exercise Clinic.
• Assist with laboratory classes, including competency testing.
• Attend weekly GA meetings.
• Maintain office hours and assist students with skills practice.
• Supervise Personalized Exercise Program (PEP) assessments and implementation.
• Enter data for the Exercise Clinic, PEP, and departmental databases.
• Help with marketing efforts, including booths and outreach to high school and undergraduate audiences, and support a needs‑analysis project for CEPs in the region.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• Eligibility for admission to graduate studies at the University of Mary.
• Priority given to students accepted into the University of Mary Master of Science Clinical Exercise Physiology Program (MSCEP).
• Demonstrated support for the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the university.
• Commitment to the implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae and to fostering hospitality within the department and university.
