This position reports to:
Technical Training Manager

Are you interested in mechanics, mathematics, and natural sciences and are you handy? Can you work well with others and are you comfortable using computers? Then the training as a machine and plant operator at ABB is just right for you!

• Duration of the vocational training: 2 years
• Start with an introductory event to get to know each other
• Transmission of basic competencies for your successful training
• Theory model at the vocational school (learning)
• Practical phases with self-directed tasks and projects in the company (applying)
• Good basis for your future professional and career development
• Later areas of activity at Busch-Jaeger include, among others, the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and retrofitting of production machines and systems

• At least a very good secondary school certificate or the intermediate level
• Good grades in mathematics, natural sciences, and technical subjects would be helpful
• Fun with technical topics, tricky questions, and new software programs
• Responsibility and commitment to your goals
• Self-initiative and independence
• Perseverance, team and communication skills

During your vocational training, you will receive a monthly training allowance: already in the first training year over 1,200.00€ gross, which will continuously increase in the following years. Further benefits include holiday money, Christmas bonus, and subsidized canteen at most locations.

As a contact person, you have a team that advises and supports you in your training. Through various events, you are closely connected with other trainees and ABB colleagues from the beginning. The training and cooperation at ABB are cosmopolitan, collegial, and on an equal footing.

In addition to the training, you can further qualify yourself linguistically and personally through additional offers, for example, during a stay abroad.
