Transportation EIT​/Coordinator

As part of HDR's Transportation Business Group, you will help shape systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Your work will support economic vitality, public safety, and quality of life as we modernize infrastructure and pursue next-generation transportation solutions.

We are a team of planners, engineers, architects, construction management staff, environmental specialists, economists, management consultants and others who solve complex mobility challenges with innovation, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of community needs. • Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
• Perform other duties as needed

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
• Proficient with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with highways and roads engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3D
• Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
