We are seeking a talented Design Engineer — Aerospace Structures to join our team and contribute to groundbreaking projects in fuselage and propulsion structure design.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, validation, and delivery of aircraft fuselage and propulsion structure components.
- Develop innovative primary and secondary structural designs ensuring manufacturability and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Address tolerance stack‑ups, cost‑effectiveness, and functional requirements in component design.
- Apply expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and use tools like CATIA V5 and Enovia
. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders, participating in all design review phases (Preliminary, Intermediate, and Critical Design Reviews).
- Ensure timely delivery of parts aligned with customer schedules and regulatory requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
. - 3–18 years of experience in aerospace industry design engineering.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5
, Enovia
, and GD&T principles. - Strong communication skills to articulate complex designs and collaborate with teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with both metallic and composite materials
. - Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid, collaborative work environment.
