Co-op:
An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are a full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full-time team member.
Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.
Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions.
Role & ResponsibilityDevelop tests to evaluate functionality and performance
Determine and test the necessary components
Determine loads / conditions to be applied (voltage, temperature, vibration, etc.)
Determine physical parameters and monitoring methods
Operate machines or simulators under controlled conditions
Record and analyze data
Build or rework prototypes as design changes are made
Set up and operate a structural fatigue test
Conduct specifications testing on a working model
Job RequirementFreshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
3.0 or higher GPA preferred
Be able to commit to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4-months)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of drafting software preferred (ProE/Creo or Solid Works)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Project management skills are preferred
