Starion Bank is seeking an accomplished Chief Risk Officer to join our Executive Leadership team. Chief Risk Officer
Location:
Bismarck, North Dakota
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of the Bank's enterprise-wide risk management framework, including enterprise risk management, information security, bank security, AML/CFT, and Fraud functions.
- Responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring comprehensive risk management and loss prevention programs while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain sound security, disaster recovery and business continuity programs.
- Serve as a key member of the Executive leadership team, senior management team, and sit on various board committees or project teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years' experience in enterprise risk management, cybersecurity, fintech and vendor management.
- Strong background in compliance, internal audit, and fraud
- Deep understanding of FDICIA requirements and state and federal banking regulations.
- Must be experienced in strategic thinking and execution, portray excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate ability to have independent judgement.
