Summary Of Work

As our Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for managing environmental compliance for the Environmental Program Assessment System, Air Resources Program, and Water Resources Program for the North Dakota Army National Guard (NDARNG). Responsibilities include reviewing all Federal, State, Local, and Army regulations related to compliance and required permitting action; coordinating and conducting site assessments; preparing applications and permits; and serving as the point of contact for Federal and State regulators on the Air and Clean Water Programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. OTAG will not provide sponsor ships.

Requires bachelor's degree in natural or physical science with emphasis in biology, chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, or closely related field and one (1) year of related experience. Experience may substitute for education on a year‑for‑year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a governmental environmental regulatory agency is helpful but not required.
