THIS IS A ND NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

Military membership is NOT required. This ND National Guard position is for a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (RADIO TECH), Position Description Number T0023000 and is part of the ND G6, National Guard.

This information is needed to determine if you are qualified for the position.

You must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Understand and apply telecommunications concepts, technologies, and standards relevant to federal operations. Knowledge of local area and DOD networking to review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex telecommunications problems. Monitor system performance and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.

EDUCATION:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
