OTAG Starting Salary: $4,593 - $5,480 / month (DOE)

As our Mitigation Program Specialist, you will be responsible for providing emergency and disaster response throughout North Dakota. Daily responsibilities include assisting with the development and revision of response, recovery, mitigation, and prevention of planning products; support efforts to revise the State's multi-hazard mitigation plan; assist with developing the annual report used in the State's Enhanced Mitigation Mission Area Operations Plan (MAOP);
and service as planning or intel specialist during activations of the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC).
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. OTAG will not provide sponsor ships.
Requires a bachelor's degree and one year of professional work experience in emergency management, education, public or business administration, operational planning, or research. Additional work experience, as described above, may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation.
