Position: Labor & Delivery Unit - Registered Nurse - $2,893 per week

Experience
  • 36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
  • Must have at least 36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
  • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
  • Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months.
Requirements
  • Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
  • This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
  • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
  • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
  • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:

Required Skills/Experience
  • RNs required to titrate drips:
    Pitocin, mag, occasional Insulin drips.
  • RN would be expected to read tele in Phase 1 recovery for c-section only (not a hard stop).
Required Credentials

    Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
  • References:
    At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Unit and Facility Details

Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? L&D: 1:1-2, Postpartum: 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical.

Shift & Scheduling

Every third weekend and holiday required as needed.

Floating Requirements

Peds MS, NICU- feeder-growers or could float to med/surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Psych units as 1:1 sitter or helping hands - first to float.

Submission Limit:
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Time Off & Holidays

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days.

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission.

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission.

Driver’s license required for submission.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
  • STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)
  • Advanced AWHONN FHM (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring)
