Job Summary And Responsibilities

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent. A Medical and/or office management degree is preferred.

Experience:

Prefer a minimum of two years office/secretarial experience in a medical facility. Computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling practices is required.

• Warmly greet and register patients.
• Efficiently schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Handle all incoming calls, directing them appropriately.
• Accurately collect and update patient demographic/insurance info.
• Process co-pays and issue receipts.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate lab and diagnostic test scheduling.
