Job Description:

This position involves providing nursing care to surgical and medical patients, including those with conditions such as total joint replacements, fractures, bariatric and urological issues, CHF, CVA, and diabetic problems. The nurse will work on a unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, and will utilize equipment such as CPAP and BiPap, while working within the EPIC charting system.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and medical patients.
Work collaboratively with monitor techs to confirm telemetry readings.
Float to different units as required according to the unit-specific float checklist.
Participate in a rotational weekend and holiday schedule.
Requirements:
Active RN license and ability to submit necessary documentation.
BLS Certification.
Experience matching current med/surg requirements.
Familiarity with the EPIC charting system preferred.
