Position SummaryThe Bar/Beverage Supervisor coordinates and oversees the planning and execution of all beverage services within the Food & Beverage department. The primary function of this role is to provide control and oversight over the preparation of alcoholic beverages for all stadium events. This position will provide beverage quality control and consistency, promote efficiency, and abide by sanitation practices. This is a hands‑on position and will require physically setting up bars and bar coolers, setting up backup beverage stations, and lifting beverage equipment.
This position would also support our Food & Beverage Department with opening or closing Concessions stands, supervising Concessions, and preparing for Concessions events. It is the goal for this position to provide consistency, quality, innovation, and training within our beverage programs.

Responsibilities- Responsible for the preparation, quality control, and oversight of alcoholic beverages and bars relative to all stadium functions.
- Adheres to and monitors sanitation practices relative to all stadium functions including beverage production and holding, dating and labeling, etc.
- Will assist with bar inventories, consumption sheets, and monthly inventories
- Supports and prepares for concessions events including opening, closing, and supervising concessions stands when necessary.
- Will assist with determining ordering levels of beverage supplies for events including mixers, garnish, and alcohol
- Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of beverage equipment, bars, and storage areas.
- Ensures proper handling of all equipment (i.e. china, glassware, silverware, linen, and props) and their proper storage after use.
- Assists in performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Responsible for leading small teams during beverage preparation and production in addition to training and leading bartenders for set up and events.
- Supervision of bartenders, watching for over pouring, quality control, and bar safety
- Regularly review schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance will require a varied schedule of days, night, weekends and possibly holidays.
- Performs other duties as required.

Skills and Abilities
:
- Ability to communicate with employees, co‑workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to make sound business/operations decisions (i.e. regarding employee placement, staffing adjustments, and/or respond to technical, product or equipment challenges during an event) quickly and under pressure.
- Ability to work well in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of all existing concessions locations: geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.
- Possess a valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by Provincial or local government, a plus.
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. pertaining to venue concession operations.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
