Software Architect & Technology Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect & Tech Analyst to provide project support with technical decisions, recommend modernization, and advise on current application technology stack. In this role, you will leverage a strong background in Java development, Oracle databases, Linux, Azure, and AI‑assisted tools to optimize and enhance GOTS applications within federal agency environments.

• 3+ years of experience developing applications using Java in enterprise‑level environments
• 2+ years of experience with Agile frameworks
• 1+ years of experience as a team lead of a full‑stack software development team
• Experience developing APIs and back‑end services to support secure data transactions
• Experience integrating AI tools to accelerate development processes
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for scalability within government or VA Enterprise Cloud environments
• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs data engineering, cloud operations, or data science projects
• Knowledge of user‑centered design principles and modern application responsiveness
