Dat Center Operations Manager

A rapidly growing technology and infrastructure organization is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead operations at a large-scale mission-critical facility. This is a hands‑on leadership position within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment where reliability, performance, and operational excellence are critical.

The successful candidate will oversee day‑to‑day facility operations, manage a team of technicians, drive infrastructure uptime, and serve as the primary on‑site leader for all technical and operational activities.

• Lead the operational management of a mission‑critical data center facility.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data center technicians.
• Oversee hardware diagnostics, physical repairs, equipment deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Develop and implement operational processes and best practices to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues and critical incidents.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, networking, and infrastructure teams to support operational objectives.
• Manage on‑site vendor activities and maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and security standards.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation supporting 24/7 operations.

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or mission‑critical environments.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, power, and cooling systems.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with data center management tools and monitoring platforms.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting equipment and working at height when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Exposure to Cisco and/or Juniper networking environments.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting hyperscale, cloud, AI, or high‑performance computing environments.

• Strong people leader with experience mentoring technical teams.
• Comfortable troubleshooting critical infrastructure issues in high‑pressure situations.
