Summary of the Job
FNTS provides managed IT services for mainframe, IBM i, AIX, and x86 infrastructures across Windows, Linux, AIX and IBM i. We support hybrid and multi-cloud deployments and seek a customer-obsessed Business Development Offering Manager to lead the IBM i & AIX service line, covering all deployment and managed service scenarios. Primary objective s are to grow FNTS revenue and profit for the service offering, raise market awareness, develop key sales and OEM partnerships, and work with sales, pre-sales and sales engineering to engage clients and opportunities.
You will lead end-to-end across the service offering, including marketing campaigns, offering strategy, partnerships, field sales, and competitive positioning.

Position Overview
As businesses transform, deployment models move toward hybrid cloud across on-premises, public cloud, co-location and private cloud. You will help clients determine where applications should run and how environments interact, guiding platform and deployment decisions that best serve business requirements.
IBM Power Systems is a core enterprise platform used to run critical apps. FNTS seeks a customer-focused Business Development Offering Manager to lead the IBM i & AIX service line and all related deployment scenarios.
Your responsibilities include growing revenue and profit, increasing offering awareness, developing partnerships, and collaborating with sales, pre-sales and engineering to engage clients. You will lead end-to-end across marketing campaigns, offering strategy, partnerships, field sales, and competitive positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for key outcome metrics including revenue growth, profit growth and overall offering performance.
- Monitor weekly and quarterly sales and operational metrics.
- Develop robust business plans and enable offering Go-To-Market readiness; stay informed on market dynamics.
- Influence engineering on service offering roadmaps to ensure competitiveness and meet customer needs.
- Develop market POVs using primary and secondary research; communicate market dynamics to sales and engineering teams.
- Support development of offering business plans and GTM/channel enablement.
- Develop client prospecting and sales programs; create sales enablement assets.
- Collaborate with finance and pricing to analyze performance, gaps and opportunities.
- Drive win/loss data collection and analysis.
Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 10+ years' sales, engineering, and consulting experience in a managed services setting; OR Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field.
- Experience in relationship management with clients and/or business partners.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication, accountability, and risk-taking. Comfortable presenting to varied audiences.
- Ability to deliver marketing content including value propositions, blogs, whitepapers, and presentations.
- Ability to translate managed services and cloud concepts into a compelling customer story.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with customers, executives, engineering teams, OEMs and sales partners.
- Strategic and creative thinker; strong pipeline development and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of cloud development tools with focus on administration, cost management, billing and invoicing, ecosystem development, and support.
- Awareness of technology trends; ability to consolidate insights for internal teams.
- Supports opportunities across sales stages and contributes to materials for executive reviews.
