ResponsibilitiesLead Service Now administrator responsible for navigating and managing demands while building platform solutions that transform our business processes. Perform day-to-day administration, manage lifecycle upgrades, monitor platform health, and establish maintenance procedures. Create scripts for data updates, gathering, and research. Conduct light development tasks focused on administration. Assess the platform and recommend improvements. Troubleshoot technical issues using comprehensive Service Now knowledge.
Manage instance security, user and group access, access control rules, and auditing. Proactively identify and execute platform enhancements to maximize value. Stay up-to-date with new features and drive continual improvement. Ensure operational integrity, integrations, audit, data maintenance, and oversight of discovery processes.
- 5+ years of experience as a Service Now Administrator in ITOM, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, or Discovery using Service Graph Connectors, and ITSM in a large enterprise environment
- Experience with Service Now integrations, including REST APIs, LDAP, and SSO
- Experience performing Service Now technical configuration such as database table structure, import sets, ETL, update sets, business rules, UI policies and actions, data policies, and ACLs
- Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and Reporting
- Experience in scripting with JavaScript as implemented in Service Now
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with Service Now's Automated Testing Framework
- Experience providing guidance and mentorship for staff members while sharing experiences
- Experience with Agile methodology and working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Service Now’s AI implementation
- Experience with development of flows, catalog items, and scheduled jobs
- Bachelor's degree
- Service Now System Administrator Certification

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
